New Mobile Medical Clinic Launches to Serve Rural Areas of Aleppo

As part of its ongoing efforts to reach patients in remote areas, the Syrian Association for Maxillofacial Surgery has launched its first mobile medical clinic, covering a number of villages and towns in rural Aleppo.

The clinic provides free examinations and early diagnosis for children with congenital clefts and jaw deformities, in cooperation with volunteer medical teams from the association’s physicians.

Goals of the initiative

• Reaching patients in areas that lack specialized medical centers
• Early detection to reduce complications from delayed diagnosis
• Referring eligible cases to the free-surgery program

This project is part of an expansion plan targeting ten additional rural areas during the current year, with support from the association’s local and international partners.
